Bush School is an experiential learning program built around regular visits to the same local bush and woodland area at Centennial Parklands in Sydney. I led the program between 2014 and 2018, under the mentorship of Sam Crosby. This page is a record of that time.

The program is based on nature education principles, and aims to develop community and ecological awareness from the ground up. It is a much loved program, which welcomes families from near and far, including home-school groups and special education groups.

“I cannot express enough how much my children and I came to love bush school. From our first session Dan engaged us deeply with his unique way - creative and playful, while at the same time welcoming and supportive of the full spectrum of emotions. He created such a beautiful community around him - we enrolled in every term until we moved interstate (about 4 years straight). Many families were the same.”
