In 2013 I established a not for profit education initiative with fellow educator Alex Unteregger. Bauerbirds mission was to bring craft inspired educational experiences into schools and community organisations to nurture creativity. All paid work was offset with community service, running programs for Youth Centres such as WEAVE Youth & Community Services and Australian Refugee Volunteers. After two wonderful years of learning and growing together, Alex returned to his home town in the north of Italy.
Craft Journey
This event was held in Cooper Park, Sydney for a birthday party. It involved a number of contributors and wove bush connections and creative arts through storytelling and play. Film by Joshua Belinfante.
